About Me

Knowing where we are is not where we want to be can be overwhelming and often disheartening. This can build when we aren’t sure what steps to take forward. However, what we often forget is that taking these steps is something that we don’t have to do alone. Sometimes all we need is a helping hand to guide us through that first step. This is something that Kegan understands and hopes to provide for others as they start their mental health journey.

By centering her practice on teaching useful coping strategies through the lens of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Kegan hopes to help clients build the skills and the confidence they need to build a life they are proud of. Additionally, Kegan uses IFS/Parts Work-informed practices and EMDR to help clients process past traumas, stress, and hurt, allowing the client to reclaim control over their life, rather than letting the past dictate it.

Kegan understands that therapy can sometimes seem intimidating to some, and, therefore, hopes to provide a warm and welcoming environment to help clients feel comfortable and safe as they navigate through life. She is welcoming to all identities and backgrounds and understands the importance of guiding individuals in a way that is best suited for them. Kegan hopes that the skills learned within sessions are one’s that individuals can carry with them throughout their life, allowing them to believe in their ability to make positive change.
